Learning Programme
Step into the arts
Union Dance has a track record of creating learning programmes that connect people of all ages with the best of arts and culture. The aim is to develop self-esteem and confidence through identity, heritage and artistic expression.
Educational workshops and seminars
Our learning programmes are dedicated to supporting talent and inspiring emerging artists. We explore diversity and inclusivity using contemporary dance, musical and digital technology, including fashion, photography, performance and installation art.
We also provide an essential platform for expression to improve health and wellbeing.
Supporting local communities
Union Dance works in partnerships across multiple London boroughs to assess community needs and deliver initiatives to make dance and the arts accessible to all.
IMPACT
Part of the GCSE Dance Curriculum, Dance Tek Warriors themes are: ‘be your own hero’ and ‘be forward thinking’. The programme encourages students to combat inequalities, inspiring them to lead creative and cross-cultural lives.
