Sportivate after School Sessions

Feel Good and Look Good

2013 - 2014

For over 3 years Union Dance has devised a program of fitness, wellbeing and street dance sessions in association with Westminster Sports Unit.

The programme's focus is improving technique while capturing the feel good factor and exhilaration of keeping fit and dance.

The aim the after school sessions is to offer a real sense of belonging and identity to maintain interest and involvement.

These dance activities have increased and there is a healthy demand for a variety of styles and disciplines.

The programme's focus is on mainly 14-18's and offers elements of youth training and workshop sessions. The sessions encourage more young people to try out dance.

Dance Tek Warriors Workshops for the National GCSE curriculum with educational resource pack CD and the special needs slow-learners programme are ongoing initiatives in the education programme.
